Underhill Project Controls backs sporting excellence as it announces the first in a series of sports sponsorships.
UPC are proud to announce a series of sports sponsorships. First of all, teaming up with Bath Rugby Academy, UPC are proud to announce our sponsorship of one of Bath Rugby’s stars of the future, loose-head prop Sam Nixon. Sam arrived last season from Plymouth Albion.
Standing at a monstrous 6ft 5in and weighing in at 120kg the young prospect can already claim advantage over his opposition.
Nixon featured for Bath United in the Premiership A-League several times last season and was named on the bench for Bath’s Anglo-Welsh game against Newcastle and the recent “friendlies” against Bristol, Ospreys & Leinster.
UPC Director Mick Underhill said “Sam represents the future of Rugby, and through the Bath Academy he will gain the skills needed to enhance his natural talent to become a formidable player. We are proud to have him on our side.
Bath Academy provides a natural symmetry to us here at UPC where we take on youngsters who display a natural aptitude for construction management and support them through teaching and mentoring to become specialists in the planning and programming of construction projects. We are currently searching for a junior planner to join our team – if that’s you, get in touch!”
Bath Rugby commented on the Partnership: “Bath Rugby are very thankful for the fantastic support it receives from local businesses, such as UPC, through shirt sponsorships of the squad. We are looking forward to a great season, and really excited to have UPC on board.”
